Based on latest data, the count of people aged 100 and above in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
Between 2004 and 2024, the number of male individuals reaching 100 has grown by 200% from 910 to 3,100. During the identical timeframe, the amount of women aged 100 or over almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
